DLP Projection Television Has Been Around Since Early 1990's

The DLP weighs much less than the standard CRT big screen television-sometimes as much as 1/3 less. While the difference in weight might not seem like much, think about this if you move the furniture often. Would you rather move a 300-400 pound monitor or an 85-100 pound monitor? In addition to being lighter in weight, the DLPs are slimmer than other televisions. The DLP is about 16 inches deep compared to 30-50 inches deep for other models. This makes the DLP projection television easier to place in small areas-you do not need to have a lot of extra space to leave open to hold the back of the monitor. The picture shown on the screen of the DLP projection television is also very crisp and clean-all the way to the edge of the screen. In addition, there is little maintenance or repairs required for this set. You will need to periodically change the light bulb inside. When you do this, the picture will come back as crystal clear as the first day you bought it. If you are planning to purchase a new television, consider the DLP projection television. It is easy to lift, move, takes up less space and is easier to maintain than many of the other larger models.
